Following the Government guidelines recently announced, Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa will temporarily close on Thursday 5th, with a planned re-opening date of Wednesday 2nd December

However, for business travellers and essential workers, accomodation can be booked on a ROOM ONLY basis via our website. Food, beverage, room service, golf & spa facilities will not be available

Please note that our Reservations and Events Offices will remain open for enquiries and bookings. We have an exciting programme lined up for the festive season, weddings and events enquiries are arriving daily, so please do not hesitate to get in contact if required

Plus, we have a fabulous range of gift vouchers available on our website should Christmas shopping start early during lockdown!

Our Reservations team are in the process of contacting all bookings that were due to visit during this forthcoming period

As of 14th October 2020, Shrigley Hall falls into Tier 2 ‘High’ COVID-19 restrictions as we are based in the Cheshire East region, and therefore the following will apply:


-Tables for up to a maximum of 6 guests from 1 household or support bubble will be permitted
-Wedding ceremonies, wedding breakfasts & wakes are permitted for up to 15 guests.
-Guests that share a bedroom overnight are permitted to do so but only if from the same household


If you have a table or room reservation with us for a booking for more than 1 household, please contact us via the email below to amend your arrangements


In addition, please note:


-You must not socialise in a group of more than 6 outdoors.
-You must not socialise with anybody outside of your household or support bubble in any indoor setting.
-The bar and restaurant will be open until 10pm.
-Face masks must be worn in public indoor areas of the hotel, excluding bars, restaurants and thermal facilities.

Our in House Management team is supported by industry experts and suppliers that are recognized in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations. Our team is committed to cleaning and safety standards that support our staff and guests wellbeing.

 

We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our staff and guests.

 

Working with the following industry experts:

Shield Safety Group – Registered safe to trade scheme

Ecolab – Installed in all food service areas

Aqua Air – Used in all guest bedrooms and public spaces

Fourth Hospitality Systems – Used to support staff welfare

Guestline Property Management Systems – designed by hoteliers for hoteliers

 

Public Spaces – All these high traffic areas will be cleaned with increased frequency by dedicated staff using recommended cleaning solutions.

 

Hand Sanitizer – Stations will be installed at key points throughout the hotel to support good personal hygiene for all.

 

Social Distancing – Signage will be installed to remind guests to maintain social distancing. Partitions will be installed where needed to provide extra protection for our staff and guests.

 

Guest Rooms – All guest rooms will be cleaned rigorously using approved products and all multi use items will be removed or sanitized, once cleaned the room will be sealed so you know you are the first person in after its been inspected.

 

New Technologies – we are working with our partners to develop new technology including remote/express check in, Bluetooth applications to replace the need for a physical key, developing an in house genius app to keep you informed.

 

Food and Beverage – we are embracing the great outdoors to provide better social distancing and developing food service styles that reduce contact points.

 

Golf, Leisure and Spa – Working with expert consultants and established bodies to develop and implement a new style including take away treatments and experiences that reduce contact.

 

Supporting the wellbeing of our team – detailed training on new products and procedures, provision and training on all PPE, face masks will be issued and worn in all public spaces, utilizing technology to monitor and train the team
