WHAT TO KNOW
PRE-ARRIVAL
Make the most out of your time here at BAZAAR SPA, Shrigley Hall. The below will hopefully provide you with information in order to get the best out of your experience.
WHEN TO ARRIVE?
At least 30 minutes prior to your first treatment to allow sufficient time to check-in, complete our required consultation card, change, and familiarise yourself with the spa facilities. Out of courtesy to all guests, we do operate a prompt appointment schedule. We do understand that sometimes our guests may arrive late for one reason or another. In this instance, every possible effort will be made to accommodate guests where possible, but so other guests are not affected, it may be necessary to reduce the time, reschedule or cancel the treatment.
You do not need to arrive early for access only.
WHAT TO BRING?
A swimming costume, or even two if you would like a dry one to change into. Towels are provided, along with a robe (apart from the sunrise session). Lockers are provided in the changing rooms. They are code operated, coins are not required.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
The minimum age to access the spa and pool facility is 16 (if accompanied by an adult). All treatments are restricted to those aged 18 and over.
BOOKING
Bookings for a spa treatment or spa day require full payment at the time of booking.
Any spa booking added to a bedroom reservation will require full payment at the time booking.
Any booking made through a third-party or on a special offer or voucher is non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation.
Payment for a spa break will be taken within 14 days prior to your arrival.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation policy is 7 days for Groups of 6 or more guests, 72 hours for spa days and 48 hours for Individual treatment bookings or full amount will be payable.
For spa breaks, any cancellation made within 14 days prior to arrival will be charged in full.
HOW LONG CAN I USE THE FACILITIES FOR?
We operate 4 sessions. 7am to 9am. 9am to 1pm. 1.30pm to 5.30pm. 6pm to 9pm.
PREGNANCY & HEALTH
It is important to inform us if you are, or possibly, pregnant so that we can advise on what facilities are safe to use and recommend the appropriate treatments. Before booking and on arrival, it is important to highlight any health conditions, medication, or injuries on our consultation card. This is important to provide you with the best and safest possible experience. The Royal College of Midwives strongly advise against women in their first trimester (less than 12 weeks pregnant) from having beauty treatments. Under 12 weeks, we are limited to offer facials only. After 12 weeks we are able to offer a range of treatments, please contact the team for full information. We are not able to perform any form of heat treatment (hot stones) on pregnant guests as the high temperatures can increase babies heart rate. Do not use the sauna, steam, jacuzzi & infinity pool.
TREATMENT ROOMS & THERAPISTS
We offer a range of room options for the spa day guest. Ideal for single guests, but also couples and friends who wish to share their treatment time together. Request details upon booking. Please note that we employ both female & male therapists. Contact us in advance on this point if required
SPA ETIQUETTE
We aim to provide a relaxing and calm ambience. We request that mobile phones are kept on silent and other devices that may negatively impact the relaxation of other users are not brought into the spa. Additionally, we ask that all treatments and relaxation rooms are treated as ‘whisper zones’ and voices are kept to the appropriate levels. We do enjoy seeing your shared pictures on social media, (@shrigleyhall), but please respect others privacy when taking shots. Please ensure that calls are taken away from other guests.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited indoors and around the outdoor pool. A smoking area can be found adjacent to the front door of the spa.
Please also note that a guest that treats the team in an objectionable or anti-social manner, is under the influence of alcohol/drugs or displays menacing, offensive or otherwise unacceptable behaviour, will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please let us know before your arrival if you have any special dietary requirements and we will do our very best to accommodate.

FOOD & DRINK
Drinks and light snacks are available for purchase at ‘Silk Road’ in the Spa. If lunch is included within your package, it will be served here. Our Spa host will direct you on the day.
USE OF FACILITIES FOR RESIDENTS
Please note that if you are a resident in the hotel and have not booked a spa day or a spa break, a fee is applicable in order to access to the spa and pool and admission must be booked. Individual treatment bookings do not include access to the facilities and a separate spa pass must be booked.
The rates for our spa sessions are:
Sunrise: 7am – 9am. Mon – Thurs from £15. Fri – Sun from £20
Day: 9am – 1pm or 1.30pm – 5.30pm. Mon – Thurs from £50. Fri – Sun from £60
Twilight: 6pm – 9pm. Mon – Thurs from £30. Fri – Sun from £40
ACCESSIBILITY
Throughout the hotel, there are steps leading to most facilities and where possible we have placed ramps and lifts within the parameters of the hotel’s listed building status.
Please note: There are steps required to access both the indoor & outdoor pools and the whirlpool bath.
