OUR NOMINATED CHARITY

We are pleased to announce that our hotel nominated charity for 2023/24 is East Cheshire NHS Trust (ECHO).

During the year, the team here at Shrigley Hall Hotel will plan, promote and stage a range of events to raise funds for what is such a worthwhile charity.

Completed events (at August 2023):

Cake Bake. Friday 14th July 2023. The team have baked, sampled and voted their Master Baker for 2023.

The crowned winners, Stu & Alex, baked a delicious blondie which proved popular with all who attended. A total of £120 was raised for the ECHO. Well done team!

Longest Day Golf Open. Wednesday 21st June 2023. 7am to 6pm with coffee, 18 holes, prizes, beer and a BBQ, the team raised £1000! Thank you to all who entered!

Snowdon Hike. Tuesday 10th October. Members of the Shrigley team tackled the highest peak in Wales. Standing at 1085m. £200 raised. Well done team!

 

Planned events (at August 2023):

Twilight Spa Fundraiser. DATE TBC. Enjoy a relaxing evening at BAZAAR Spa, with a glass of fizz, good food, a glorious sunset (hopefully!), retail offers and more!

Christmas Jumper Day. Thursday 7th December 2023. The team will donate to show off their favourite festive sweaters.

Funds are also being raised via the sale of our local walking maps.

Christmas jumpers and the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Nearly £7000 was raised for our 2022/23 charity, East Cheshire Hospice. Read more here
