How do I book tee times?
The BRS tee booking system is a live tee sheet that allows you to book yourself a general play tee time and also to enter into the club competitions. Tee times can be booked 31 days in advance; competition entry is open up to 12 hours before the event. We do ask that if you need to cancel a tee time in a competition, you inform the Golf Shop staff. This way we can avoid members being left without a game.
How do I obtain a handicap?
By returning three scorecards marked by a Shrigley Hall golf member who possesses a current handicap. The third card must be completed in a club competition and marked by separate individuals to the previous cards. If you currently possess a valid handicap, simply ask your existing club to forward the relevant documentation.
How often do you hold competitions?
We stage a seniors’ competition every Monday, a roll up every Wednesday afternoon/evening in the summer, a stableford every Thursday, and a weekend competition every Saturday or Sunday. In addition, regular club matches, both on a friendly basis and in a league are scheduled. Participation in competitions is entirely optional, but is a great way to improve your game and to meet new members.
Do I receive a membership card?
Yes. The card should be kept with you and be available for inspection when visiting Shrigley Hall Hotel and the other venues where reciprocal golf is available. Plus, in order to receive your 25% food & beverage discount here at the hotel, you must have this to hand.
How do I find out about what’s happening at Shrigley Hall Hotel Golf Club?
Our information board is located outside in the entrance hall of the Lodge. Tournament results, course reports, promotions and a host of additional information, is displayed. Please cast your eyes over it if you wish to be kept up to date. In addition, you can provide your email address to receive regular email communication about upcoming events, results and latest news. Your details won’t be provided to any third parties, it is simply to keep you informed.
