Afternoon Tea in Stunning Cheshire

A decadent British tradition in a spectacular setting

Let’s raise a glass to Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford, originator of afternoon tea. Peckish between luncheon (a small meal) and dinner (often served late), Anna got into the habit of having a light meal of tea, cake and sandwiches in the afternoon. Soon, what was atypical became de rigueur!

Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea in very traditional, grand surroundings. The menu comprises finger sandwiches and delicious homemade cakes, pastries and scones, freshly brewed tea or coffee, and rounded off with a chilled glass of Prosecco!

Afternoon tea is available daily from 1pm to 3.30pm and served in the Hotel.
