Afternoon Tea in Stunning Cheshire

A decadent British tradition in a spectacular setting

Let’s raise a glass to Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford, originator of afternoon tea. Peckish between luncheon (a small meal) and dinner (often served late), Anna got into the habit of having a light meal of tea, cake and sandwiches in the afternoon. Soon, what was atypical became de rigueur!

Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea in very traditional, grand surroundings. The menu comprises finger sandwiches and delicious homemade cakes, pastries and scones and freshly brewed tea or coffee. You can always make it extra special by add a glass of fizz (supplement applies)

Afternoon tea is available daily from 1pm to 3.30pm and served in the Hotel
