Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa
COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL IN CHESHIRE
Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa is an elegant Georgian country house, set in 262 acres of grounds. A unique hotel in an equally unique Cheshire location, 154 bedrooms of varying sizes and styles. From double, twin and single hotel rooms for corporate travellers and leisure breakers, to modern suites, family rooms and unique feature rooms.
Just 15 miles south of the cosmopolitan city of Manchester and on the edge of the Peak District National Park, we are perfectly located for exploring local attractions.
The hotel resort is well-known throughout the north-west of England for our championship 18-hole golf course, along with one of the most unique health and wellness experiences in the area, BAZAAR Spa. Enjoy being pampered in one of our treatment rooms, or relax in our infinity pool, steam room or whirlpool spa – all housed in what was a Salesian chapel (NOTE: supplements and pre-booking applies).
We are one of the most popular wedding venues in the North West, with a range of packages and suites to cater for all. Additionally, if you are looking to host a family party, business meeting or conference, look no further.

For many years we struggled with the condition of the 10th green. However, following investment, increased drainage, care, attention, and a lot of hard work, it’s now one of the best surfaces to putt on. Top marks Head Greenkeeper Ben & his team. Course moving from strength to strength. Well worth a round if you haven’t played recently to enjoy improvements made. Head to the link in our bio to book
Yesterday, we said farewell to Derek Martin, who was our longest serving member of the team 28 years of dedicated service at Shrigley Hall. He’s worked in virtually every department here at the hotel, knows everything that needs knowing about the hotel, and has worked tirelessly during his time here. He could certainly write a good book about his experiences! He’s moving onto pastures new, will be greatly missed by the team, and we wish him all the very best Thank you Derek
