Our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinators are well-versed in cultural traditions and committed to meeting your bespoke ceremonial requirements. We offer tailored multicultural wedding packages and welcome outside caterers to use the facilities in the following circumstances:
If the hotel catering is not appropriate for religious reasons. For functions taking place on a Sunday (but this may be negotiable). For functions taking place in the Tilden Suite only.
The Tilden Suite is a former monastery chapel with a domed roof, period features, private entrance and function bar. Maximum numbers for a ceremony are 200, wedding breakfast 220, and reception 300.
The ‘External Catering’ package includes:
Tilden Suite hire and use of the kitchens.
Tables and chairs for up to 220.
Bridal Suite for the night of the wedding.
Corkage for non alcoholic drinks.
Laying tables and place settings.
White table linen (cloths and napkins) for up to 220.
Cutlery, crockery and glassware for up to 220.
Manager to supervise function.
Kitchen Porter.
Additional staffing (per person per hour):
Waiters £16.00. Bar staff £16.00. Kitchen Porter £16.00.
Additional equipment hire (per dozen/per item):
Plates (per dozen) £1.90. Cups and saucers (per dozen) £1.70. Cutlery (per dozen, per item) £1.70.
White tablecloths (each) £3.50. White napkins (£1.50).
Civil ceremony turnaround £350.
Accommodation:
For wedding guests, we offer a 25% discount for overnight accommodation here at the hotel. The rate includes breakfast and can be offered for the night before and the night of the wedding.
Rooms can be booked here. To access the discount, guests will need to add the unique personalised promo code, which will be detailed on the wedding contract once booked.
Spa access is not included in the room rates, but passes can be purchased online or via the team.
We encourage guests to book in advance to guarantee availability and best available rate. A non-refundable £50.00 deposit is required at time of booking, with the room balance due on arrival.

Note: All functions with outside caterers must send a letter from their chosen catering business to confirm they are a registered company and use recognised suppliers. They must also provide written proof of public liability insurance (minimum value £5 million) and a valid food hygiene certificate. A £500 deposit is required from the company to ensure that they leave the kitchen in the same state it is found in.
